MEET OUR OLYMPIANS

Haiti's first ever male Olympic swimmer is Alain Sergile. He swam the 100m butterfly at the 1997 Games in Atlanta.
Davidson Vincent would later break Alain Sergile's National Record in the 100m Fly in 2018.

Haiti's first ever female Olympic swimmer is Naomy Grand'Pierre who swam the 50m freestyle at the 2016 Games in Rio.

Reason why you want to represent Haiti Swimming: "When I was younger, I would look at all the pictures of my dad representing Haiti in Barcelona, Spain, and was always inspired. There aren't that many swimmers on the national team and I want to be able to represent the country and make Haiti proud. Even though I wasn't born there, it's still an important part of who I am. Following my father's footsteps and representing Haiti in the Olympics and other international meets would mean the world to him and to me."
